The Market Place and Cricklade Street is the only area of the town that will be affected. Thanks to Cotswold District Council there will be free parking in all of the town centre car parks this evening. (TBC)

17:00 (5:00pm) - Reception at The Fleece
This is by invitation only!
17:30 (5:30pm) - Torch-light Procession Muster
The children will be mustering in 2 points in the town centre details will be announced nearer the time.
17:45 (5:45pm) - Torch-light Procession Starts
With their torches alight the children will make their way through the town accompanied by the Salvation Army Band to the Market Place where they will gather in front of the stage.
17:45 (5:45pm) - Stagecoach perform in Market Place
18:00 (6:00pm) - Carols in the Market Square
Join us as we sing carols to mark the start of Advent here in Cirencester.
18:15 (6:15pm) - Welcome by Cirencester town mayores
The Mystery VIP arrives on stage accompanied by dignitaries from the town. There will be a short speech.
18:30 (6:30pm) - Turning on the Lights
This is what all the hard work has been for our Mystery VIP will turn on the lights to mark the start of Advent in Cirencester.
21:00 (9:00pm) - Roads Re-open
The Market Place will once again be open to traffic.
